How Do I Join the Commercial Ready Program

If you’re an artist looking to expand your reach into the commercial art market, the Commercial Ready Program by Artrepreneur offers a unique opportunity. Here’s a guide on how you can apply and be considered for this program, which connects artists with commercial clients through curated selections.

  1. Create an Artrepreneur Profile: Begin by establishing a professional profile on Artrepreneur. It should include your bio, artist statement, and contact details.
  2. Build Your Resumé/CV: Strengthen your Artrepreneur profile with a detailed resumé or CV. This gives our curators a clearer understanding of your artistic journey and achievements, aiding in the evaluation of your work’s commercial potential.
  3. Upload Your Artwork: Add your artwork to Artrepreneur, ensuring each piece is accompanied by comprehensive details like title, medium, dimensions, and description. This will help our curators evaluate your work better.
  4. Apply Through Open Calls: You can submit both original and prints through our Open Calls. We regularly update it with Open Calls looking for specific types and styles of artwork. Read each Open Call closely to ensure you follow the requirements.
  5. Curatorial Review: Our curatorial team will review your submissions, evaluating each for artistic quality, uniqueness, and commercial suitability.
  6. Selection Notification: If your work is chosen, you’ll be notified and given further instructions. Your profile and selected works are marked with the Commercial Ready badge, denoting their readiness for commercial use.
  7. Stay Active and Engaged: Maintain an active profile and regularly update your portfolio with new works. Participation in various open calls increases your visibility and likelihood of being selected.

Additional Options: The Readymade Store. Consider adding your works to the Readymade Store.  You can find more information about the program by clicking here.

The key to success in the Commercial Ready Program is aligning your artwork with the needs of commercial spaces. Focus on the quality and uniqueness of your submissions to improve your chances of selection.
