Ritina Ansurkar

Based in Tennessee USA, I have been a visual artist since January 2018. Admiring the beautiful landscapes of Tennessee and wanting to recreate them is what led me into the art career. My preferred subject has always been landscapes, as I like to paint the photographs that I capture on my visits to different places. I try to create artwork that inspires my viewers to go to those places, that I paint and experience the beauty of that place firsthand. But I also like to be versatile in my selection of subject matter, as I feel art, is in the eyes of the artist. Anything from the mess on my artist’s table could inspire me to paint that mess of scattered paint tubes and brushes. Acrylics has always been my preferred medium, because of its drying time. I do experiment with oils to acquire certain textures. My painting surface can vary from paper, canvas, wood to earthenware, canvas being my preferred substrate. My artwork usually has bold bright colors with special attention to details.Beautiful places are my key inspiration for creation of art, and I try to make the artwork as photorealistic as possible. As I develop in the future, I would like to be known in the artist world as one of the reputable and well-known artists.
