Description
In the stillness of the moment, a silent struggle between light and shadow is revealed. Three calla lilies, delicate and graceful, rise from a billowing veil of fabric. Their pure white calyxes reach toward the sky, like the spirit’s unquenchable longing for transcendence. The soft folds of the fabric, deeply immersed in shadow, symbolize the earthly bonds that often bind us, yet nourish and protect us in their embrace. It is a scene that reminds us that true strength often springs from vulnerability.

As a photographer, I am immersed in the fascinating world of doors and entrances. For me, these symbols of transition are more than just architectural elements. They represent the choice between entry and exit, depending on our inner attitude.
My photography shows the duality of these choices. An open door can be inviting and a gateway to new adventures. At the same time it can symbolise leaving the familiar and entering the unknown.
By photographing doors and entrances, I explore the idea that each passageway offers the possibility of entering another world - a world that is not our own, but someone else's. I find it fascinating how the simple decision to walk through a door can change one's life and perspective.
In my photographs I explore the diversity of doors and their surroundings. Each door tells its own story and I love capturing the tension between the familiar and the unfamiliar. My photographs invite the viewer to reflect on their own attitudes to transition and to discover the beauty of exploring new paths.
With my camera I capture not only images, but also the emotions and choices involved in walking through a door. Each photograph is an invitation to a journey - a journey into unknown worlds waiting to be discovered.
