Artist Statement
My artistic journey is a personal voyage of discovery and growth. I am committed to honing my painting skills, continuously refining my brushstrokes and patterns, allowing them to evolve and take shape as they dry.I find inspiration in the grid interpretation often employed by abstract expressionists. This approach enables me to uncover hidden influences and intricacies within my artwork. By bridging my experiences in the natural world with a larger inner realm, I weave a tapestry of emotions and stories within my paintings.I strive to create art that has an impact, whether viewed up close or from a distance. I believe the grid helps us compartmentalize the overwhelming mystery of the universe, which I aim to evoke in my work.Throughout my creative process, I embrace the elements of focus, breath, time, and technique. These elements converge to weave delicate narratives on the canvas, capturing the essence of my artistic vision. Each brushstroke becomes a deliberate expression, reflecting my profound connection to the world around me.As I continue to explore and experiment with different techniques and approaches, my artistry expands and evolves. My intention remains steadfast - to create art that resonates with viewers, inviting them to immerse themselves in the beauty and profound depth of my creations.
