When I painted and put together this piece, I wanted to portray a figure " waiting"... for what?.... you decide what she's waiting for... perhaps a lover.. perhaps a baby...?.

In this expressive artwork, a tranquil figure adorned with luminous roses reveals a treasured aspect of cultural history, connecting us to an era of enduring beauty. My collage techniques, interweave fragments of paper to create a layered composition that invites viewers into its depths. The array of textures and colors forges a link between classical and modern influences, infusing new life into every detail. As you engage with this piece, contemplate the relationship between contemporary artistic method and traditional subject .
