Remember what it was like to go to the public library and search through the old card catalogs? Well those have long gone, but as a librarian, I felt an emotional connection to the cards. As an artist, I found a use for them! Library card catalog cards form the surface for my art work. The designs also take their cues from the information on the cards. I use a love of botanical illustration, vintage photos and tangle patterns to create a unique form of art.
