Gonzalo Contreras del Solar is a Bolivian fine art photographer whose work focuses on water as a central subject. For more than five decades, he has developed a long-term photographic practice exploring water across multiple continents, capturing its movement, structure, and visual complexity. His work examines water as both a physical and symbolic element — essential to life, yet increasingly fragile. Through large-scale, limited-edition photographs, he seeks to create immersive visual experiences that emphasize both the beauty and the vulnerability of this natural resource.
