I create bold, relevant, and thought-provoking pieces that strive to find meaning in the loss, trauma, and hardships affecting disenfranchised, marginalized individuals and communities. Often informed by political and social circumstances, as well as lived experience, my artwork explores humanity, memory, ideals of beauty, wealth, and poverty juxtaposed against the disparities and interconnection between the concepts of perseverance, resilience, change, decline, and regeneration. Representations of flora and fauna derived from the natural ecological world around us, as well as equestrian and aquatic sport and the restorative power of music, feature prominently in my artwork.All rights reserved.
