What began as a photo taken from the rooftop of a landmark building on Museum Row in Los Angeles, CA, became a lovingly romanticized characterization of the city the artist has loved all her life and still calls home. The familiar and iconic palm trees, billboards, glass windows, boxy buildings, and the Hollywood Hills (aka the Santa Monica Mountains) are all represented in this graphically stylized treatment featuring a vintage 1980s color palette.
