Description

Title: Green Soul

Size: 24 x 30 inches

Medium: Acrylic paint and markers on canvas

This painting explores the tension between calm and chaos. The background is a layered mix of dark green and deep purple acrylic paint. I chose the title "Green Soul" because green is traditionally a color of peace, relaxation, and grounding energy. Ironically, this is not a relaxing piece. The disrupted background with energetic, bright yellow that mimics the raw movement of graffiti tags. Because the neon yellow contrasts so heavily against the dark tones, the painting instantly catches the eye.

I paint because I'm fascinated by how color changes our mood. Living in Miami, the city's bright light and public art scenes naturally bleed into my work. I'm inspired by the unapologetic energy of graffiti, which shows up in my vibrant color choices. Ultimately, I build eye-catching pieces that shift the mood of a room and invite you to step closer and explore.
