Tamea Agle

Photography has always had my heart. Beginning in the medium of film and dark rooms, I have used cameras ranging from 1950's Yashica cameras, Canon 35mm cameras. Much of my work now is of course made using Nikon DSLR and Mirrorless cameras. For many years, my main occupation was Live music photography, and in this roll, I was very fortunate to photograph many absolutely incredible musiciansIn a world where moments pass by in the blink of an eye, I have always been drawn to capturing the essence of life through my lens. As a photographer who initially specialized in Live Music and Event photography, I thrived on the energy and raw emotions that unfolded before me. However, when the world came to a standstill due to the pandemic, I found myself presented with an opportunity to explore a new facet of photography - fine art and macro photography.Through this transition, I have been able to dive into a realm where little details reign supreme, where the intricate beauty of the smallest subjects is brought to the forefront. My work in this collection focuses on unveiling the hidden wonders that surround us, inviting viewers to pause, observe, and appreciate the often-overlooked marvels of the world. With each click of the shutter, I seek to not only capture an image but to evoke a sense of wonder and reverence for the world we inhabit.

As a photographer who has transitioned from capturing the energy and passion of live music performances to exploring the beauty and emotion in art photography, my work is a reflection of my journey and evolution as an artist. Through my lens, I aim to not only freeze moments in time but also to convey stories, emotions, and atmospheres that resonate with viewers on a deeper level. In my live music photography, I honed my skills in capturing fleeting moments of raw energy, intense emotions, and dynamic compositions. This experience has influenced my art photography, where I now focus on creating visual narratives that evoke a sense of wonder, nostalgia, or contemplation. By playing with light, shadows, colors, and textures, I seek to create images that transcend the ordinary and invite viewers to see the world through a different perspective. With each click of the shutter, I strive to create images that are not just visually appealing but also emotionally compelling. My art photography is a fusion of technical proficiency, artistic creativity, and personal interpretation, offering viewers a glimpse into my unique vision and storytelling. Through my work, I invite you to join me on a visual journey where moments are frozen in time, emotions are captured in pixels, and stories are waiting to be discovered.
