The image is a diptych, consisting of two panels, each filled with a variety of abstract shapes and vibrant colors including reds, pinks, ochres, greens, blues, yellows, and purples. Both panels display an expressive, abstract style with overlapping lines and forms that suggest an energetic and complex interaction. This artwork invites viewers to explore and interpret the diverse elements and relationships depicted. Mixed media in plaster, chalk mineral paint oils, encaustic wax and codwax and oil brought depths that neither material has alone, a whirlwind of sweeping arcs and musical rhythms- they swirl up out of the surface and disappear back into it again. A painting from just before everything changed.
