Artist Statement
In my artistic journey, I explore the multifaceted nature of existence, recognising the inherent polarities that shape our lives. My focus is often directed towards shedding light on pressing social issues, where art becomes a potent tool for raising awareness, inspiring empathy, and fostering change.I delve into the delicate balance between addressing social issues and nurturing personal well-being. I embrace the understanding that in order to create impactful art that resonates with others, I must first attend to my own holistic growth. By consciously taking time out and immersing myself in the everyday mundane yet essential aspects of life, I discover profound insights that shape my artistic expression. Within the ordinary, extraordinary stories unfold. I find solace in the simplicity of daily rituals, the beauty of nature, and the profound connections that arise from genuine human interactions. It is in these seemingly ordinary moments that I witness the profound resilience, strength, and compassion that make up the fabric of our existence. Through a harmonious interplay of mediums, from painting to digital manipulation, I aim to capture the essence of these parallel worlds. It is my creative duty to challenge norms, provoke thought, and inspire action.
