Description: Penguin UK asked me to redesign the covers of six Iris Murdoch reissues on the occasion of her centenary. I worked with the art director to create scenes that show a sliver of the main characters, to spark the reader's imagination. The designs--painted by hand with acrylic gouache--each evoke the decades they take place in (1950s through 1970s), and include specific references to the stories.
