Description
This is one of my most recent paintings. The different shades of blue and turquoise create an illusion of depth about the painting that almost resembles ripples over a deep lake or pool of water in a cave system. Open water can be extremely beautiful but also very dangerous. This painting outlines both.

Samuel Potter
My name is Samuel Potter. I am a Wisconsin based artist that specializes in vibrant abstract and abstract realism paintings created using acrylic on canvas. I have always craved creative outlets since I was a kid and I initially explored artistic expression through music. Over time my desire to create grew and I began painting which eventually became my true creative passion. I have always loved to make art but I now feel drawn to painting and often find myself doing so through the night and into the morning hours.
I have always been drawn to the open ended nature of abstractions and the way it invites viewers to find their own meaning and interpretation of a painting. I think it is beautiful to see just how different each persons perspective is when viewing my work.
