Theo Darst

Theodore Darst is a New York–based artist and the Director, Studio Development & Operations at ATP, where he leads creative production at the intersection of contemporary art, image-making, and emerging technologies. His work focuses on building studio-driven systems that integrate digital workflows, AI tools, and large-scale production across both artistic and commercial contexts.His background spans fine art and high-level studio production. Over four years, he worked closely with Kehinde Wiley on complex international projects across photography, film, and installation. He has also held production roles with Trevor Paglen, Digital Counsel, and Red Bull Music Academy, contributing to large-scale, multi-platform projects with an emphasis on integrating emerging technologies into established workflows.Earlier in his career, Darst maintained an active exhibition practice, presenting work in solo and group shows in New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, and internationally, including exhibitions at The Drawing Center, the Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles, and the Museum of the Moving Image.
