Description

A battered and scoured art deco Airsteam trailer bakes in the sun in Savannah, GA. The Airstream is an iconic, teardrop‑inspired travel trailer known for its polished, riveted aluminum exterior and rounded, aerodynamic shape. This artwork presents the subtle allure of industrial texture, where metal and light create an intricate narrative. The polished sections, coupled with riveted seams and gentle flaws, convey a tale of history and purpose. Each mark serves as a quiet reminder of the passage of time, adding richness to the piece and prompting viewers to consider its background. The interaction of light and shadow enhances this visual experience, deepening its appeal.

This print with mat will measure 20" x 16" with the opening for the image being 16" x 12" and fit the same size frame as the mat. All Matted images are single mat with a neutral white color. The image is printed on Moab’s Entrada Bright White paper. This 100% Cotton fiber, acid free paper offers maximum contrast and great ink retention for a reflection free, sharp image. Custom sizes and mats are available, please reach out to the artist to discuss your vision.

My images thematically have always featured heavy colors, deep moods, harsh shadows and at times discordant patterns. This is how I view the world as I move through it. My style choices involving color, effects, and methods should leave no doubt that this photograph is how I see the world, how I experienced the moment, and am trying to convey that through a single image. It’s a nice release from the more constrained, client driven, photographic work that dominates my day. I don’t believe in keeping within a constrained subject matter nor do I like to stage or pose my images. The real joy in photography is finding that single fleeting moment and getting to share it with the world
