Irish Visions Art By Melina

Art has always been a constant presence in my life, but it wasn't until recently that I truly began to explore my potential. During a period of profound emotional trauma, I discovered watercolor painting. This medium became my sanctuary, allowing me to transcend my turbulent thoughts and find a serene state of being. Through watercolor, I not only escaped but also transformed my pain into a journey of self-discovery and creative expression. My artistic vision centers on the hidden depths beneath the surface of human experience—unseen emotions, energies, and feelings. I am driven to make the invisible tangible, transforming fleeting moments and ephemeral emotions into vivid expressions of energy. Watercolor, with its unpredictable nature and ethereal qualities, is the perfect medium for this exploration, allowing me to capture and convey the subtle, often overlooked aspects of our inner worlds.I am deeply inspired by the dynamic and emotive qualities in the works of contemporary watercolor masters like Alvaro Castagnet, Joseph Zbukvic, and Thomas Schaller. Their ability to bring life and movement to each brushstroke has profoundly influenced my approach, motivating me to capture similar vibrancy and fluidity in my creations. These artists set a benchmark for my artistic development. By studying their techniques and works, I strive to refine my skills and push the boundaries of what watercolor can achieve. My ultimate goal is to master my craft and build a successful career in the art industry. I am committed to continuous learning and development, always exploring new ways to convey energy and emotion through my work. True success, to me, lies not only in technical proficiency but also in the ability to connect with viewers, artists and stakeholders. I am eager to connect collaborate and hopefully find support, which I believe will be invaluable as I pursue this journey of artistic growth and discovery.
